Cassandra Lai

Cassandra Lai is a Registered Teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and is currently teaching with Waldorf Ballet. She holds an Advanced Diploma of Performing Arts (Elite Dance) as well as a Reformer Pilates certification. Cassandra completed her full-time dance training at the National Ballet School in Australia and began her teaching career in 2020. With multiple years of teaching experience, she continues to expand her career across both dance and movement education.

Throughout her years as a dancer, Cassandra has performed in a wide range of works—from full-length classical ballets such as Don Quixote, Paquita, Giselle, and The Nutcracker, to contemporary pieces by various artists and choreographers. A key highlight of her dance journey was completing a one-week work experience placement with The Australian Ballet, the country’s most prestigious ballet company.

Cassandra is thrilled to be joining and supporting the Sunshine Coast Festival of Performing Arts Society. She looks forward to helping, learning, and supporting all performers and students involved.
